ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS - ELECTRIC
WARNING: IMPROPER ASSEMBLY CAN CAUSE SERVERE
INJURY OR DEATH. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE PERSON
WHO ASSEMBLES THE SCOOTER IS COMPETENT TO DO SO.
Remove packing frame and put scooter on centre stand; bike should
balance with front in the air.
Cut speedometer drive tie and let hang, don’t loose small
bush that goes into disc side of front wheel.
Undo bolts holding front brake caliper and let hang.
FRONT MUDGUARD INSTALATION.
Remove the 2 phillips head screw form about halfway down the
forks, fit the 2 square holes in the top of the mudguard over
2 tabs at top of forks, align mudguard with the screw holes from
halfway down the fork and refit the screws.
FRONT WHEEL INSTALATION.
Put front wheel into place making sure the bush is inserted
into the disc side of the front wheel and fit front axle from
disc side about half way.
Put speedometer drive in place and insert axle fully, fit axle
nut and tighten firmly.
Fit the front brake caliper by gently spreading the brake pads
apart and slip over disc, 1 pad either side. Locate, insert and
tighten caliper bolts firmly.
Pump the front brake lever until firm, front wheel should spin
freely with little resistance if fitted correctly. Fit mirrors
and rear axle covers.
GENERAL CHECK
1. Get yourself some ARMORALL CLEANER (or similar) and give
your bike a detail, removing packing oils and watermarks from
the plastics, keep a screw and spanners handy and check all screws
and bolts as you go.
2. Before riding your bike read owners manual and check operation
of brakes, lights, tyre pressures ect before taking to the streets.
3. REGO. Your compliance plate is located on the battery box
on the right hand side, VIN # is under panel between knees.
4. For maximum battery performance never leave batteries flat,
charge as soon as possible after riding.
